Market Access Manager, Sweden

Location: Sweden

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Market Access Manager working for a world leading global pharmaceutical company in Sweden

Purpose of the role

To enable open access to the local market by building mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships with non-prescribing payers and policy makers.

Outputs

  • Improvement in local access in line with national strategy and local needs
  • Product inclusion in local guidelines and formularies
  • Therapy area policies aligned with the companies strategy
  • Reduced health economic barriers for local prescribers
  • Local business plan for improving market access
  • Productive and open access relationships with local non-prescribers and influencers
  • Enhanced company reputation in local market
  • Contribution to organisational knowledge and management of the health economy

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, planning and prioritising activities within target customers to achieve maximum return on effort
  • Developing strong, productive networked relationships with non-prescribing influencers and key health economy stakeholders within the defined locality
  • Monitoring and reporting local and national trends in health policies and activities
  • Horizon scanning and mapping trends and needs in the local environment regarding health economy and market access
  • Collaborating with all internal stakeholders to promote a common agenda for market access

Experience and key skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Other pharmaceutical sales experience will be considered
  • Strong knowledge of the national and local health policy and health economy issues
  • Good understanding of stakeholder relationships and influences in prescribing
  • Advanced negotiation skills
