Purpose of the role

To lead the Healthcare Systems function within the business Unit. Providing direction, support and assistance to enable the business to meet their business objectives in all markets.

Accountabilities

To develop an ongoing Healthcare Systems program.

To proactively manage and develop the performance of direct reports through performance management, calibration, resource review and planning, capability, disciplinary, training and development.

To operate as a member of the Global Regulatory Council providing overall regulatory direction to the business.

Ensure appropriate HCS Policies and Systems are in place within the business.

To develop global regulatory/clinical/HE/re-imbursement strategies within the business unit to ensure current and developing legislation / business requirements are addressed in a timely and cost effective manner.

To recruit, develop and motivate members of the HCS Team and to provide adequate facilities and equipment to ensure output is of high quality and is sufficient to meet customer needs.

To maintain high standards of health and safety in the workplace in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety Policy, Environmental management policies and commitment to loss control.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Significant regulatory experience in a management role within a multinational company.
  • Expertise in Regulatory Affairs with as a minimum a solid understanding of Clinical, HE and Reimbursement.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, team player and customer focused
