Background to the company and our offerings: A range of positions could be available including consultants, business analysts, and managers. We would also be interested to hear from people who could expand the business into areas such as opinion leader research or health economics.
Our client is a world-leading consultancy dedicated to market access. The company has a track record with pharmaceutical companies of all sizes, from start-ups to many of the top 10, biotechnology and device companies, as well as health service clients.
- This company has been established for over 10 years and provides management consultancy services to the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. It specialises in research among healthcare payers to assist refinement of pricing, reimbursement and market access strategies.
- Core value dossiers are the companies core product offering and have developed dossiers for more than 50 major products.
- They also produce market access newsletters, formulary materials, publications, disease area reviews and commercial assessments.
- Therapy area experience covers all major areas.
Duties and responsibilities
- Project management.
- Conducting and writing up in-depth interviews with payer decision makers globally
- Providing support in the preparation and delivery of client presentations
- International travelling is required
Requirements
- A post graduate qualification in health economics or international health policy ideally backed with a first degree in a life science and relevant work experience, or a graduate with 2-3 years consultancy or other work experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and oral – and be willing to work independently as well as within a team. Language skills would also be useful.
