Associate Director - Consulting

Location: EU

My client is a large, well respected Global consultancy who are rapidly expanding. As my client is interested in the best talent there is flexibility on location. The ideal candidate will need to have in-depth knowledge in Economic Modelling, Pricing and Reimbursement and Health Economic Evaluation. This role would be good for a manager looking for line management responsibility.

As this is deemed as a Strategic role within the organisation their will be a number of other key responsibilities such as:

  • Maintain proficiency of skills and knowledge and remain current with industry trends based current literature, application of new technology.
  • Participate in client engagements and manage project deliverables
  • Present research findings to industry clients and at professional conferences. Publish research in-peer reviewed literature
  • Participate in Business Development, Marketing and Sales activities

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Clinical Trials
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent Communication and Computer Skills
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Previously working in a Matrix structure

Fulbright Scholar Program for US Faculty and Professionals

The Fulbright Scholar Program is offering 150 lecturing, research or combined lecturing/research awards in economics during the 2009-2010 academic year, including a Distinguished Chair award in health economics in France. U.S. Fulbright Scholars in over 130 countries around the world enjoy an experience of a lifetime, gaining a broad cultural perspective on their academic disciplines and connecting with colleagues at institutions around the globe.

Awards range from two months to an academic year. Faculty and professionals in economics may apply for awards specifically in their field or for one of the many “All Discipline” awards open to any field. Grants are awarded to faculty of all academic ranks, including adjunct and emeritus. In most countries lecturing is in English, though awards in Latin America, Francophone Africa, and the Middle East may require proficiency in another language.

The application deadline for Fulbright traditional lecturing and research grants worldwide is August 1, 2008. U.S. citizenship is required.
