Sr. Healthcare Analyst: Mayo Clinic
Location: Rochester, Minnesota, USA
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, seeks a healthcare specialist to be responsible for conducting, developing, and implementing reporting and analysis that demonstrates the effectiveness of population health management initiatives (including data mining). As a member of the Healthcare Analytics team, this position manages health outcome projects, and serves as a key contact with clients and partners to meet expectations focusing on the health, productivity and financial goals attained through use of MCHS resources, products, and services. You will participate in the product development process to ensure that final design and reporting strategy targets the desired outcomes, is business-driven, and represents the industry’s “best of practice.” Additionally, this position participates in the design and implementation of test plans associated with targeted population health management initiatives such as lifestyle coaching and integrated cross product reporting.
A bachelor’s degree in business or a health related field, or liberal arts with an analytic background, is required. Masters degree in Public Health or related field preferred along with 5+ years of health-related program outcomes experience (population health management and/or healthcare claims based analysis), including questionnaire/survey design and statistical analysis. Advanced communication skills, proven expertise in relationship management of multi-disciplinary teams, and ability to influence, prioritize and multi-task are essential. Proficiency in Word/Excel/Access a must.
