Associate Director, Late Phase - Prospective Observational and HEOR: i3 Innovus

The Associate Director maintains Project Manager responsibilities for multiple projects, mentors and trains new Project Managers and provides administrative management for Project Managers. Participates in business development activities as required.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific oversight and quality assurance of late phase studies (e.g. health economics, outcomes research, registries, and interventional studies).
  • Oversee project teams to ensure timely delivery of high quality project deliverables.
  • Provide overall support, performance management, and career development guidance to direct and indirect reports.
  • Provide support to Business Development.
  • Manage personal career development and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in health services research (HSR), health economics, epidemiology, sociology, psychology or equivalent, PharmD or MD plus 3-5 years of research experience in academic, CRO or consulting environment.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of research experience.
  • Minimum 5 –6 years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in project management of teams across multiple functional areas
  • Experience designing research studies involving collection of patient-reported outcomes using survey research methodologies
  • Experience conducting research utilizing secondary data sources a plus.
  • Knowledge of Institutional Review Board processes, HIPAA, Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal savvy and the ability to build relationships both internally and with Customers
