As part of its continuing expansion, HERG is seeking to appoint a new Reader / Senior Research Fellow in health economics.

Salary: Reader - a competitive salary will be offered
Senior Research Fellow: Grade: H5 £46,240 - £50,327 pa incl of London Weighting.
This is a permanent position.
The aims of the post are to develop and lead a personal research programme in health economics and to provide leadership to strengthen HERG’s research activities. The successful candidate will be expected to publish in leading journals, obtain external grant income and contribute to interdisciplinary research grant proposals, and to play a key role in the supervision of research degree students.
Researchers with interests in any area of health economics are encouraged to apply. Applications from researchers with interests in the economic evaluation of health care programmes are particularly welcome.
Candidates should have either a doctoral degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline plus at least 3 years relevant research, industrial or commercial experience or at least 6 years relevant research, industrial or commercial experience.
For exceptional candidates there may be an opportunity to recruit at Professorial level.
