Senior Health Economist
Responsibilities: The Senior Health Economist will provide primary HE expertise for multiple projects within specific therapeutic areas. Responsibilities will include collaboration with Clinical and Commercial project teams to identify, develop and implement health outcome strategies that support pre- and post-marketing products. The Senior Health Economist will be involved in pricing and lifecycle planning of products as well as assessments of products being considered for development.
Requirements: An advanced degree in Health Services Research, Economics or Decision Analysis (or related disciplines) is preferred with a minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience conducting pharmacoeconomic, health economic or outcomes research. Relevant industry experience is strongly preferred. The candidate must have familiarity and experience with the development and implementation of research strategies as well as the ability to disseminate information and results from randomized, controlled trials to real world settings and customers. A strong understanding of research methodology and statistics, as well as demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills are required. Excellent presentation skills, both internally (within Genentech) and externally at scientific symposia, as well as publication in peer-reviewed journals is strongly encouraged.
