Postdoctoral Fellowship: McMaster University
Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
A post-doctoral fellowship (PDF) is available in the Department of Economics and Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis, McMaster University, Hamilton Ontario Canada. The PDF will be part of a research team that includes health economists, public economists, experimental economists, and ethicists who are using experimental economic methods to investigate a range of issues related to financing and funding health care. The research encompasses both stated- preference and revealed preference methods as well as field-based and laboratory-based applications. The PDF will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively to develop their own program of research that will lead to peer-reviewed publications.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in health economics with a strong interest and, preferably, experience, in the use of economic experiments in health economic research.

The candidate would be expected to begin the PDF in the period January 1 - September 1, 2008. The PDF can run for up to two years and carries a competitive stipend plus basic benefits.
