Health Management Positions in Serbia: HLSP

Established in 1985, HLSP is an international consultancy working to improve world health. With offices world-wide and over 100 senior, technical and administrative staff, HLSP has extensive international experience of providing technical assistance and managing complex projects. At any one time, HLSP is working in around 30 countries, and we have experience in over 100 countries.
We are seeking candidates for two positions on an upcoming EC project in Serbia - “Training in Health Service Management”. This will be a 3-year project, starting in January 2008. Both positions will be more-or-less full-time for the duration of the project.
Candidates must have:
Health Management Expert / Team Leader
- relevant university degree in health or business management or equivalent
- 10-15 years of proven relevant experience in health service management
- experience in project management, coordination and team leading for complex international health reform projects
- strong managerial and negotiation skills, preferably at government level
- demonstrable experience with EU processes and procedures
- experience in developing health management education and training programmes
- experience in the design and delivery of senior leadership programmes
Health Management Education Specialist
- relevant university degree in professional management, education management or another relevant field;
- 10-15 years of proven professional experience in an area associated with the delivery of masters in business administration and/or masters in health administration (MBA / MHA);
- knowledge of current international / European best practices in tertiary education, curriculum development and training;
- minimum 5 years professional experience in the field of professional education and management development;
- experience of teaching, coaching and mentoring (preferably in the health sector);
- applied experience in education evaluation.
