HE&OR TA Head - Switzerland

Location: Switzerland

Job Purpose: To lead the development and implementation of global health economic & outcomes research strategies. Provide evidence that secures optimal pricing, reimbursement, and formulary listing.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the integration of economic and quality of life parameters into the Phase II and III development and brand optimization programs.
  • Assure appropriate representation of HE&OR on International Project Teams and Worldwide Brand Teams.
  • Manage allocation of TA resources according to strategic priorities.
  • Supervise HE&OR TA staff.
  • Ensure the efficient and timely development of HE&OR deliverables (core value dossier, publications, and core economic models.
  • Oversee the coordination of HE&OR research strategies with CPOs including integration of key CPO HE&OR needs for clinical development program.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience conducting health economic and outcomes research for pharmaceutical products; at least 2 years conducting such research in a pharmaceutical company
  • Prior history of full responsibility for development and execution of HE&OR strategy of multiple products.
  • Expert level technical knowledge in HE&OR study methods; thorough understanding of study designs that provide most relevant evidence to decision-makers
  • Established relationships with health economics/health outcomes thought-leaders and viewed by these as an expert.
