Research Academic (Evaluator): Newcastle Evaluation Group, University of Newcastle, Australia

The Newcastle Evaluation Group, University of Newcastle, Australia, is seeking a research academic with skills or training in epidemiology or health economics, medicine, pharmacy, statistics, or another related discipline. A background in a health profession (medicine, pharmacy) is desirable but not essential. The Group has a contract with the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to provide appraisals of submissions for listing of pharmaceutical products on the Australian Schedule of Pharmaceutical Benefits. There are opportunities for teaching and research in addition to the evaluation work.
