Reimbursement Specialist: Cook Medical
Location: Bjaeverskov (a bit outside Copenhagen), Denmark
We are looking for: Cook competes in the highly competitive medical device field. To secure our success, it is necessary that we understand all aspects of health care in the markets in which we compete. This includes understanding how our hospital and physician customers are reimbursed for the service they provide. To build our capabilities in this area, we are looking for a well-qualified and engaged employee for our European Reimbursement Team.
You will be a key player in a young and qualified team of engaged employees who are taking care of hospital and physician reimbursement issues in Europe. Your main focus will be on France, Belgium and Italy.
Job Profile
- Keep an unsurpassed understanding of the reimbursement systems – inpatient and outpatient
- Oversee reimbursement applications
- Stay updated on HTA and country specific regulations
- Draw attention to general policy issues
- Work with the relevant trade associations
- Serve as the primary source of reimbursement support for sales representatives and customers
- Support Cook sponsored clinical and health economic trials
Employee Profile
- You possess good oral and written communication skills in English and French
- You are familiar with DRG-based hospital reimbursement systems
- You are able/willing to travel, primarily within the EU
- You have a health economic background or education (preferably)
- You have experience in governmental healthcare administration and/or in hospital administration (preferably)
- You have gained reimbursement experience from working in a pharmaceutical or medical device company (preferably)
- Preferably you also speak either Italian, German or Spanish
