Two Senior Leadership Opportunities: Boston Health Economics, Inc. (BHE)

Boston Health Economics, Inc. (BHE) is an independent research and consulting firm specializing in the economic evaluation of medical technologies. Our clients include leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturers. Our staff includes accomplished economists, health services researchers, clinicians, and business professionals. Our continued growth has created opportunities at several levels. We currently are accepting applications for two senior leadership opportunities: Director of Health Economics/Practice Leader and Associate Director of Health Economics.

Director of Health Economics / Practice Leader

The Director of Health Economics will shape and lead a practice area synergistic with the core competencies of BHE. Activities include business planning and development, strategy consulting, team leadership, oversight of research activities, preparation of manuscripts, and presentations at client and professional meetings.

This position requires a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Health Economics, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Business with 7-10+ years of experience in a challenging environment. A proven track record in team leadership and business development in a consulting organization is essential. Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills, and a willingness to travel, also are required.

Associate Director of Health Economics

The Associate Director of Health Economics will lead and oversee management of a wide variety of projects covering all core service areas within the company. Responsibilities include taking a lead role in study design, mentoring junior staff, manuscript preparation and presentation of findings at client and professional meetings.

The Director of Health Economics position requires a relevant Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience in research-based consulting (Masters considered with additional experience), including several years of project management experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills, and a willingness to travel, also are required.
