We will examine the impact of cancer on the lives of patients, their families, and the health services, using the tools and concepts of heath economics. This is the first project of its kind in Ireland, and one of very few such projects internationally.

You will be willing to take a lead role in the implementation and analysis of this complex project, and, with other economists, public health people and in the further development of health economics in UCD and on the island of Ireland.
