Two Year Post-Doc: Colorado State University and U.S. Forest Service
Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Post-Doctoral Economist in Air Quality and Health Economics in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at Colorado State University. Ph.D.(Economics, Agricultural Economics, Public Health or Public Policy or related field). Two-year appointment.
Research entails:
- obtaining information on wildfire and prescribed fire smoke emissions in the western U.S.;
- combining those data with data on related health effects (e.g., hospital admissions);
- estimating the economic damages associated with the differential health effects associated with wildfire and prescribed burning; (d) manuscript preparation. Knowledge or skills in non-market valuation including averting behavior, cost of illness, damage cost method or defensive expenditures.
Competence in multi-variate statistics or econometrics. Experience constructing large databases from multiple secondary sources.
