Chair in Health Economics: Health Economics Research Unit, University of Aberdeen

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland, UK

Candidates will be engaged in research of international standing and have an extensive record of high quality published research. The successful applicant will provide research leadership and contribute to securing additional funding to support the research of the Unit. Those with an interest in any area of Health Economics are encouraged to apply. Applicants with econometric skills, expertise in modelling in economic evaluations or valuation experience are particularly welcome. A highly competitive remuneration package will be available for exceptional candidates.

The Unit provides outstanding facilities to support research in the field of health economics, with dedicated information search and related support, access to large datasets and research assistance. Researchers from the Unit were awarded a grade 5 in the 2001 RAE.

This senior appointment will be a permanent post.
