The CCMF/ Marcel Desautels Chair In Integrative Health Management: McGill Health Initiative

The McGill Health Initiative is a strategic alliance between the Faculties of Management and Medicine at McGill University. Pushing simultaneously the frontiers of health and management disciplines, the McGill Health Initiative was formed in 2001 to foster innovative research on modern health challenges. As the Initiative has now grown into well funded research programs and innovative educational and knowledge transfer activities, including the MD/MBA, we are recruiting for an outstanding scholar in integrative health management whose work addresses the complex and adaptive relationships between medicine, management, health care delivery processes, and policy.
Applications are invited for the CCMF (Canadian Credit Management Foundation)/ Marcel Desautels Chair in Integrative Health Management at the Faculty of Management. This Chair can be paired with a Canada Research Chair either at Tier 1 (Senior) or Tier 2 (Junior) level for someone whose research aligns with Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) pillars.
Applications are invited from scholars who meet the following criteria:
- A higher degree (PhD or equivalent)
- Strong background in research, teaching and development in the field of integrative health management
- Demonstrated leadership in this field
- Experience in working with healthcare, management, and strategic policy makers
