Research Associate Positions, Health Technology Assessment: Institute of Health Economics (IHE)
Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

The Institute of Health Economics (IHE) is a vibrant and growing research organization seeking Research Associates in health technology assessment. As a member of our research team, you will collect and analyze data and information to evaluate health technologies, including critically appraising health care literature, researching databases, and synthesizing the information into a well written and concise report.
Candidates will have a postgraduate education (Master’s/PhD) in a health or science related field or equivalent professional experience that includes training in areas of epidemiology, an understanding of critical appraisal tools, biostatistics, economics, and social sciences.
Other requirements including working well with multidisciplinary teams of researchers, information specialists, policy makers, and clinicians. IHE projects include provincial policy studies and national and international collaborations.
A minimum of 2 years experience in conducting systematic reviews and 3 years of relevant experience in government and/or health research are also required.
