Global Pricing Associate

The Position: The Global Pricing Associate will be a key member of the Market Research organization and will have a strong analytical background and a strategic perspective. The company is building a world class pricing organization and is searching for deep expertise and interest in a pricing career track.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Determine the value of program phase compounds by evaluating the future disease state, standard of care, future customer needs, patient segments, environment and comparator pricing strategies
  • Quantify the compound value by developing global pricing strategies
  • Understand and evaluate trends in the pricing and reimbursement environment
  • Provide consultancy and expertise to the global team on strategic pricing issues (i.e.: clinical trial design to provide information and data that addresses future needs in patient care in various disease states and therapeutic areas)
  • Provide, pricing and reimbursement guidance to internal partners (Global Brand Team, Health Outcomes, Regulatory and Medical)

The Individual

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences or quantitative business field (ex. Pharmacy, Nursing, Economics, Market Research)
  • 3+ years previous experiences in developing pricing strategies and/or research studies with various customers
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B status) for this employment position.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities including strategic and creative thinking
  • MBA degree is a plus
  • Reimbursement experience a plus
  • Ability to synthesize vast data from various cross-functional areas (i.e. medical, market research, health outcomes, corporate affairs and reimbursement specialists)
  • Effective project management, cross-functional networking and influencing ability across the globe
  • Ability to construct a sound argument based on data, experience and expertise and effectively communicate results
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Understanding of pricing and reimbursement issues
