Reader in Health Economics (.5 FTE): London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Department of Public Health & Policy

To focus on health economics and health systems in Asia, especially China

We are seeking to make a half time appointment in health economics, as part of a collaboration with the School of Public Health, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Applicants must have a strong international reputation in health economics and health systems, and substantial experience in China. They will join a team of health economists in the Department of Public Health and Policy. Successful candidates will have interests in the application of economic models to the analysis of health systems, the context within which they operate, and how they can be strengthened; experience in the design and conduct of empirical studies; and substantial postgraduate teaching experience.
