Outcomes Research Advisor: Dymaxium
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (or remotely)
We are currently seeking Outcomes Research Advisors to provide field expertise in content creation and modeling.
Candidates from Canada, US and Europe will be working remotely. Local candidates (Toronto area) will be working from Toronto based office. Travel required for all candidates.
Responsibilities
- Lead content and model (spreadsheet) development
- Technical review and analysis of models (e.g. budget impact, cost-effectiveness, burden of illness, etc).
- Effectively translate and interpret knowledge related to clinical expertise for model building
- Summarize, review and coordinate all clinical and economic content
- Assist in preparation of all content and analysis (proposals, storyboards, model flow, presentations, economic marketing brochures, user guides, technical manuals, reports, abstracts and manuscripts)
- Build and defend clinical argument
- Provide content and spreadsheet based support to project team to successfully deliver quality models
Qualifications
- B.S., M.Sc., and/or Pharm.D degree in health economics, health outcomes, health services research, public health, epidemiology, biology, pharmacology, or related field.
- Professional degree in pharmacy or medicine an asset.
- We welcome foreign trained physicians in various specialty areas with knowledge of drug utilization and disease management.
- Previous experience in a medical/health outcomes research environment.
- Knowledge of international health care systems (formulary, drug approval process) and jurisdictions (hospital, country, province, state).
- Strong technical understanding of all outcomes research related content (health economic decision & analytic models, research studies, economic value communication).
- Well versed in all aspects of clinical/healthcare disease states, such as epidemiology, management and therapeutics.
- General understanding of healthcare systems, health care policy, and pharmaceutical drug development pipeline.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in reviewing, understanding and translating complex research work or results into clear, concise and compelling key value messages and presentations.
- Publications (abstract, manuscript) or conference presentations an asset.
- Demonstrated computer skills including in depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and decision analysis software.
