Senior Clinical Effectiveness Consultant (UK Based)
Location: UK
Background: My client is a global Pharmaceutical company which is dedicated to the discovery and development of new medicinal products in numerous therapeutic areas, as part of their continued development they now wish to appoint an experienced Health Economist. This is an outstanding opportunity for advancement within one of the world leading Pharmaceutical companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of primary care Clinical Effectiveness review programmes
- Identify requirement for new programmes and lead development and implementation
- Continuously improve existing programmes to meet customer need.
- Develop simple tools for prioritising demand for ERPs
- Produce metrics to monitor success of programme
- Demonstrate clinical effectiveness of Brands in routine clinical use
- Develop bespoke programmes for primary care, and specialist brands to demonstrate clinical effectiveness, and value for money in routine clinical use. Using:
- Prospective and retrospective clinical audit
- Clinical research databases
- Generate real-life data to shape the market, and support Brands
Experience / Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical industry experience in either a clinical research design role, or an analytical function
- Leadership and influencing skills with the ability to influence and challenge without line management authority
- Demonstrable record of collaborative working, and personal delivery to agreed timelines
Desirable:
- Proven track record and significant experience of working with clinical databases and audit programmes in the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrable project management skills
- Excellent understanding of the NHS and customer needs for evidence of clinical effectiveness
