Location: Dublin, Ireland
Closing date: 23 March 2007
The Health Policy and Information Division at the Economic and Social Research Institute, Dublin, manages two national information systems on behalf of the Department of Health & Children: the Hospital In-Patient Enquiry Scheme (HIPE) collects data on discharges from all acute hospitals nationally and the National Perinatal Reporting System (NPRS) collects data on all births in Ireland. The level at which the appointment is made and the related salary and other conditions will depend on qualifications and experience.
