Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced strategy consultant. Consultants are key members of project teams assembled to address issues of strategic business importance to our pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
Consultants are expected to:
- Work with the project Principal to define project work plans and scope
- Lead and/or direct project activities, including but not limited to primary and secondary data gathering, data analysis, data modeling, economic analysis
- Integrate data and analysis findings into overall strategy development, possibly including tactical planning
- Synthesize and assess findings to refine project work plans as necessary, to insure that project goals are met
- Work individually and with colleagues to prepare deliverables
- Insure that project timelines are adhered to
- Assist in the development of project proposals for clients and potential clients
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of CONSULTANT-level experience at a pharma/biotech strategy consulting firm, or similar experience with a pharma/biotech company or health insurance company
- Masters degree in the life sciences, business management, health economics, or social sciences, from an outstanding school
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Well-developed capacity for independent thought
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, TreeAge, and Word skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Self-motivated and hold high personal standards for performance
- Strong interpersonal skills
