Accountable to: Associate Director-Appraisals
Job opportunities are arising in the team assessing the clinical and cost effectiveness of health technologies (Multiple and Single Technology Appraisals).
Job holders will be involved in the scoping for an appraisal, liaising with academic and stakeholder groups, and presenting the evidence base to the Appraisal Committee. In addition, you will be advising the Appraisal Committee of key technical issues, and drafting the guidance to the NHS.
With skills in health economics, medical statistics, clinical trials, epidemiology or related areas, the job holder will be an enthusiastic analyst with a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. health economics, public health, clinical pharmacology, health service research).
