Health Economist (Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor or Research Professor level): Department of Radiology, University of Washington

The Department of Radiology at the University of Washington is seeking applicants for one or more positions at the level of Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor or Research Professor within the Department’s Health Services Research section. This recruitment is open until filled.
The successful candidate will be expected to take an active role in on-going research and development in the areas of health economics and epidemiology as they relate to diagnostic imaging and will have the opportunity to work with existing faculty and research groups involved in on-going health services research.
She/He would be expected to contribute to the general research, to develop his/her own research project(s) and funding support, and to contribute to the educational programs within the Division. Requirements for this position include demonstrated skills in economic analysis, decision modeling and epidemiology as they relate to diagnostic testing. Preference will be given for applicants who combine experimental and theoretical work. Applicants must have received a Ph.D. and proven success in securing grant funding.
