Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with a solid history of growth in the Asia Pacific region and an exciting pipeline of new products under development.
They are currently looking to appoint an experienced senior health economist at their newly built Asia Pacific head office in Sydney - located minutes from some of Sydney’s most popular beaches.
The role is responsible for the overall economic evaluation and forecasting of various product portfolios (current and future). More specifically the role entails:
- Providing timely and accurate clinical, economic and financial evaluations.
- Developing new techniques and methodologies for economic modelling and forecasting.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including government bodies.
- Mentoring and developing staff on modelling & technical best practice.
- Project managing the development of detailed government submissions for new products.
- Devising new methods and procedures for obtaining & interpreting data. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with sound analytical and conceptual ability. In particular the person will possess:
- A successful track record in a similar role within a large corporation, consultancy or government body.
- A relevant graduate qualification (post-graduate preferred) in business, economics or statistics.
- Exceptional modelling, numeric and technical skills.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills - both written and verbal. Remuneration: 6 figure commensurate on experience
