Market Access Manager, Europe: Sanofi-Pasteur MSD
Location: Lyon, France
Mission: The Health Economics and Market Access Europe Service, which is located in the Market Services Europe Department (Strategic Marketing), is mainly responsible for the development of Health Economics evaluations and the implementation of pricing policies for new products in Europe. The position contributes to the evaluation, development and implementation of economic value and pricing strategies for assigned product portfolio.

- External companies involved in Pricing.
Responsibilities: The Market Access Manager will work closely with marketing, health-economics, medical and epidemiology corporate functions as well as country organizations to achieve optimal funding and pricing of new products or line-extensions, and price maintenance for existing product portfolio.
The Market Access Manager will contribute to:
- develop detailed knowledge of SPMSD European markets pricing and funding environment, and identify key value drivers
- develop comprehensive product value argumentations to support pricing and funding
- support countries in their negotiations with local pricing/funding stakeholders, and facilitate cross-country experience (communication of data, training in market access…)
- follow the local implementation of guidelines defined by SPMSD Pricing Committee.
The Market Access Manager will also:
- supervise sub-contracting companies’ activities to optimise the use of resources
- ensure regular update of information & data bases relating to market access systems & vaccines’ environment, at country level as well as at European level
- maintain a level of expertise for market access activities
- participate to projects of the Health Economics and Market Access service or Market Services Department.

Training / Professional experience:
- Scientific education or business education
- Is a Pricing & Market Access professional (at least 3 to 5 years experience) with in depth experience of at least one major European market,
- Has already managed pricing and reimbursement submissions and has been able to solve local access issues
