Ph.D. Scholarship in Health Economics: Institute Of Public Health, University Of Southern Denmark

Applications are invited for a Ph.D.-scholarship at the Department of Health Economics for appointment as soon as possible. The Ph.D.-project must be within a health economics.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in economics. As part of the Ph.D.-program the Ph.D.-student must complete an individual planned course program. The Ph.D. student must also achieve teaching experience. The Ph.D.-student is expected to spend a certain period with a foreign research institution.

All projects are welcome. Priority will be given to applications with an interest within the following topics: supplier-induced demand, among others by the general practitioners, supplementary health insurance, the Danish structural reform and health reforms in general, (aspect of) the market for dental care for adults, or (aspect) of pharmaceutical market (pharmaco economics). The application must include a project proposal.

The Ph.D. student is expected to participate actively in the activities at the department, and to spend a significant portion of time there. (see http://www.health.economics.dk/)
