Copenhagen Congress: Pre-Congress Sessions Submission Deadline
As with past iHEA meetings, we will be offering pre-congress training and information sessions prior to the beginning of the Copenhagen Congress at the Copenhagen Business School July 8-11, 2007. In a slight departure, the pre-congress sessions will run on Saturday, July 7 and/or Sunday July 8, 2007 at Lund University in Sweden.
We are currently looking for expressions of interest and proposals to run sessions.
Pre-conference session submission deadline: August 21, 2006 [EXTENDED]
There are two main styles of sessions:
Training Sessions
These are 1/2 day sessions designed to provide specific training on methodologies relevant to health economists. They may range from introductory to expert level sessions. Fees for the 1/2 day session range from $100 - $150. Any proceeds from session registration shared 50/50 with the faculty of the session. Faculty are responsible for their own expenses, including conference registration. Limited refreshments are provided for breaks.
Information Sessions
These are 1/2 day sessions designed to provide information of specific issues for a defined audience. This may include research program overviews, database utilization, issue-specific discussions, etc. These sessions are typically free for attendees, however, the providers of the sessions are expected to sponsor the session to a minimum of 5000 euro. Faculty are responsible for their own expenses, including conference registration. Limited refreshments are provided for breaks.
To be considered for a pre-congress session please provide a 1-page proposal which includes the title, contact person, faculty and session description by August 21, 2006 to bill@healtheconomics.org. Any proposals to be included will be contacted by August 31, 2006.
