Presentation:

This course offers an analytical overview of the role of government and politics in health policy. It also intended to familiarize doctoral students with the health policy research literature and selected questions in the field.

Objectives:

At the end of the course, participants should have acquired the following capabilities:

  • Have an understanding of the nature of health care systems and the political and economic contexts of their development.
  • Have familiarity with some of the most important research literature relevant to the development and impact of health policy.
