Erasmus Universiteit: MSc in Health Economics, Policy, and Law

University: Erasmus Universiteit
Department: Institute of Health Policy and Management
Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Since september 2003, iBMG (Institute for Health Policy and managment) offers a Master of Science programme in Health Economics, Policy and Law. MSc HEPL is multidisciplinary and specially designed for students interested in understanding the complexities of health care systems from different perspectives. MSc HEPL offers students the opportunity to complement their curriculum with the specific skills derived from the interdisciplinary approach to health and health care. Successful students will be able to identify the policy and economics implications of legal rules and decisions, to advance arguments using both legal, economics and political reasoning, as well as to grasp the differences between national health care systems. These skills will represent an exceptional asset to find professional openings at international firms, consultancy groups, international organisations like the UNO, WTO, EU, or to pursue an academic career.
