The MSPH in health policy program is designed to train policy analysts at the master's level to work in government agencies, voluntary health organizations, local, state, and federal legislative bodies, managed care organizations, private industry, and consulting firms. Students are trained in quantitative methods, data management, and computing skills. They will receive advanced training in health economics, health care finance, and health policy. Finally, depending on their background and career goals, they complete either a one-term, full-time preceptorship in an appropriate health policy setting or a major research project.
