Economics, Modelling and Diabetes: The Mt Hood 2012 Challenge

The next Mt Hood Challenge, the only diabetes specific health economics conference, will take place at Johns Hopkins Mt. Washington Conference Centre Baltimore Maryland, USA on 7-8th June 2012.
The challenges will include how diabetes computer simulation models predict vascular and other complications in different settings across the world, how to deal with uncertainty and a comparison of techniques with cancer simulation models.
There will also be traditional conference sessions with abstracts invited on any aspect of diabetes-related health economic research.
The Mt Hood conference is being held between the annual meeting of ISPOR (2-6 June in Washington DC) and American Diabetes Association Congress (8-12 June in Philadelphia).
Early registration at the conference is $700 (Industry) /$400 (Academic/ Public Sector) if booked prior to 3rd Feb 2012 EXTENDED to March 5, 2012 .
