Special Session Call for papers:

During the last years we all face a great advantage of information technology in the healthcare domain. A great amount of research approaches appear promising significant prognostic or therapeutic results. Still, only few of them are adopted in every day clinical practice. Several reasons can be identified: high cost; resistance to change; red-tape; lack of financing are only few to be mentioned. The goal of this session is to bring together academics, researchers, managers, policy makers, marketers and become a forum for exchange of knowledge and experience on economic, financial, organisational and managerial aspects of ICT applications for health. Authors are invited to submit their research contributions or practical experience reports. Methodological issues are also welcome. All papers will be peer reviewed by at least two referees.
