Call for Papers: First CEISUC International Workshop: Demand for Health and Health Care

The Centre of Health Studies and Research of the University of Coimbra, Portugal (Centro de Estudos e Investigacao em Saude - CEISUC, http://www.uc.pt/org/ceisuc/) invites researchers, irrespective of their institutional or geographical affiliation, to submit theoretical, applied or policy-oriented research papers to the First CEISUC’s International Workshop on Demand for Health and Health Care.
The Workshop will be held on 7 - 8 May 2010, in Coimbra, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC; http://www.fe.uc.pt). Full papers should be submitted electronically until 15 February 2010 to the e-mail address ceisuc@fe.uc.pt. Decision notices on submitted papers will be reported no later than 31 March 2010.
Keynote speakers:
Professors Andrew Jones (University of York)
John Mullahy (to be confirmed) (University of Wisconsin, Madison).
Accepted papers will be presented in 35 minutes-long sessions, including paper debate by a pre-assigned discussant.
The Workshop will be preceded, on May, 6th, by two short courses on Applied Health Econometrics, by Professors Andrew Jones and John Mullahy.
