PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF HEALTH SYSTEMS AND ORGANIZATIONS
The 14th annual Conference of Italian Health Economics Association (AIES) will be held in Bergamo on October 29th and 30th 2009.
Both empirical and theoretical papers are expected to contribute to the theme of the conference “Performance evaluation of health systems and organizations”. A number of papers not specifically pertaining to the Conference theme will be admitted for presentation and discussion in open sessions.
Abstracts (not exceeding 2 pages) are to be submitted before June 15th 2009 by e-mail to the members of the Scientific Committee and the Conference Secretary. For emails see AIES call for papers.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and acceptance/rejection will be communicated by July 15th 2009.
Accepted papers must be submitted to the Conference Secretariat by September 15th 2009.
The conference agenda will include one or more doctoral and junior researchers sessions where papers will presented by authors and discussed by a discussant designated by the Scientific Committee.
Authors who want to compete for the “AIES Young Researchers Award” must explicitly state so in their submissions and must present an original and unpublished paper at the conference. To be eligible for the award, all the authors must be under 35 years of age.
