This Healthcare Transformation conference with a primary care focus will be a first in Singapore, which provides a platform for international and local speakers to share their expertise, experiences and challenges in healthcare transformation in their countries. This will be especially impactful and relevant as countries around the world are reviewing their healthcare systems to make them more efficient and cost-effective.
We have invited several internationally renowned experts in chronic disease management, quality innovations, information technology, health resource allocation and utilization, law and professional ethics. They include Dr Barbara Starfield, University Distinguished Service Professor, Department of Health Policy and management at Johns Hopkins University, Dr Shigeru Omi, the Regional Director of the Western Pacific Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO), Prof Trisha Greenhalgh, Professor of Primary Health Care at the University College of London, Prof Michael Kidd, Professor of General Practice and Head of the Discipline of General Practice at the University of Sydney amongst others.
