Australian Health Economics Society (AHES): 26th Australian Conference of Health Economists

The 26th Australian Conference of Health Economists, organised by the Australian Health Economics Society, will be held in Melbourne on Thursday, 30th September, and Friday, 1st October, 2004. The presentations will be 20 minutes in length, and a discussant will be assigned to each paper presented. Abstracts for papers and proposals for complete sessions are invited on any topics relating to health economics, and should be e-mailed or faxed to Michael Shields no later than 30th July 2004 (E-mail: mshields@unimelb.ed.au, Fax: 61-3-8344-6899). If e-mailing your abstract please title the e-mail "AHES 2004". Authors will be notified of decisions regarding acceptance by 13th August 2004, and will be required to provide a full copy of their paper to the discussant by 17th September 2004. Expressions of interest in being a discussant (if not submitting an abstract) are also welcome and should be submitted by 30 July 2004.
The keynote speakers will be Martin Knapp (LSE), Tom Rice (UCLA) and Richard Scheffler (Berkeley). The conference will be held in downtown Melbourne at the Park Hyatt Hotel.
